You will be anxious to make your mark this month. Saturn is now in Libra, and a group of friendly planets - Mercury, the new moon, and Sun - have come to Libra to help you make a name for yourself. While mastering your goal won’t be instantaneous, you will see progress once you set up your plan. With Saturn as your tutor, no goal will be too big to achieve as long as you work patiently and consistently. You will need at least two years to see things through to the finish, i.e., to the point where you feel you’ve mastered what you set out to do and are feeing more comfortable with things. Think long and hard about the commitment you make, for any decisions you make this month will be lasting.
In another part of your life, you may have a serious responsibility for the care of a family member or have a pressing housing problem that requires thinking and research before you can find the right solution. This may color your other decisions, so it may need to be your first priority before you set other goals, at least for the time being. By January you will see progress on this goal.
If you are prone to depression, you should monitor your feelings and get help if you feel you need it. Saturn can, occasionally, plant a little back cloud overhead - refuse to let it hover. All the dark colors you’ve been wearing lately aren’t helping. Then again, your funky mood may simply be due to being low on sleep or your proclivity of not eating as well as you should. Not taking care of yourself could account for any feelings of tiredness, sadness, or lack of enthusiasm that you may be feeling. To be sure, see a doctor. Some of the challenges you are facing will require time and stamina, and you’ll more easily handle them all if you take good care of yourself.
Financially you may have something to cheer about on October 3 when you get good news about a business deal, or a surprise birthday gift comes through. You’ll be a cash magnet near this date, so rake it in!
A new job or assignment may be offered within days of October 24, when Mars and Uranus set off sparks and bring you a way to make more money.
Romantically, Venus will be retrograde, though, so if you are single, you might have a change of heart about someone you’ve been seeing. If you are not sure how you feel and need time to think, take it. Venus will go out of phase from October 8 to November 18, not a time for making big decisions about your romantic future. Venus is your ruler, so this will affect you more than most, but in late November, all will become clear.
The full moon, October 22 (plus or minus four days) will have you riveted on your partner, and there may be some very exciting developments. You may be nearing a point where you may “seal the deal” with a ring and be discussing this possibility on the full moon in your commitment sector October 22 or the weekend. This full moon is in beautiful angle to Pluto, one of your two rulers, so your alliance could be transformative and inspiring. Still, if you can wait to finalize plans to November 19, you will be making your astrologer (me) happy.
If you have been coupled up for some time, you may be buying, selling, leasing, repairing, or renovating property together. Pluto will see to it that you get support from a bank or strong, possibly financial, support from your family. If plans are exciting but not quite ready to gel, they will take shape in late November, so bide your time.

A note to my readers who live in time zones that are based far (12 hours or more) from the US:
I had a young woman ask me on Facebook if the dates I write each month applied to her, as she lives in Australia. Yes, they do, but you should add one day to the date I give you. The reason is that the dates I give here are for the United States time zones. If you live 12 hours ahead of the USA, then you might need to add one more day to the dates I give you. If I say October 3 will be special, mark your calendar for October 4.
Having said this, you may feel the energy on the dates I mention here as well. All aspects are strongest as they are growing in strength. Once they reach a peak (on the day I give you) they begin to decline. So if you live in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, or Japan, for example, you will see dates mentioned that are still on their way to peaking.
Generally you can add one day to the dates I list each month, but sometimes the dates I give you will be precise to the day. There are always mathematical tolerances, because astrologers use bell curves. Full moons, no matter where you are located, will have a plus or minus of four days on either side. It all sounds complicated, but it is actually not. You will enjoy your forecast, dear reader, as long as you realize all aspects have a bit of plus or minus associated with all of them, and that includes my readers in the US.
