Monthly Horoscopes : Libra (September 23 - October 22) Your Monthly June 2014

Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, has been shining in your tenth house of career success for almost a year, and next month will depart, not to return until 2025. If you have not yet found your ideal vocation, you will have a rare and wonderful chance to find the right one for you now. While you will always have opportunities to climb the ladder of success, you have ideal aspects now, and your ascent will be easier than usual, for you will have high-level people supporting you every step of the way.

What makes this month so different and special? To trigger the goodness of Jupiter, planet of gifts and luck, you would always need a powerful new moon in your career sector (tenth house) where Jupiter is currently based. A new moon helps to poke the pinata so that all the goodies from Jupiter can rain down to you. Remarkably, just as Jupiter is busy packing his bags to leave this part of your chart in mid-July, the ideal new moon will arrive June 27. Be sure to have your resume ready, and also recruit friends to direct you to new opportunities.

Mercury will be retrograde June 7 until July 1, so it may be that a former job opportunity will come up again, or someone from your past will come forward and offer you a new professional opportunity with great potential, one that allow you greater status and power. Circle June 18, when your ruler, Venus, will contact Jupiter. If you’re negotiating commission, perks, health insurance, and other benefits, do it then, for financially, you will come out ahead.

The new moon that appeared close to the beginning of this month, May 28, will coax you to pack your bags early in June to go to a distant location as June starts. Travel now will spark your curiosity and stimulate you intellectually. You would be wise to take a vacation in early June. If you land a new position in July or August - very likely - you won’t be able to easily get away in coming weeks and months.

If you have children or other responsibilities and you cannot travel early in June, you may instead take a short, quick trip in the days that approach the full moon, June 12. You would leave spontaneously, and the trip would be based close to home - and it would bring you bushels of fun. You may hear from your sister or cousin at this time too, and you may decide to travel to see your relative. Also at this time, you may be asked to sign a contract, as a deal appears to be reaching culmination, but doing so would not be wise. Put off putting your signature on papers until July.

Mars has been in Libra since December 7, a very long time for high-energy Mars to be in any one sign. Mars will now give you more control, and now that Mars is moving direct orbit (as of May 19 last month), you are seeing a much faster pace.

One day that may create high-level tensions will be June 24, a potentially very tough day for you, when Mars in Libra will tangle directly with Uranus in Aries. This is considered an inflammatory configuration. You may become upset with what a partner says or does at this time, and the incident will arise quite out of the blue. This partner, in love or business, may press all your most sensitive buttons. This person may alternatively not be a romantic partner, but rather be a direct competitor, so keep your eyes open. Don’t be provoked - back off and observe so that you can think carefully about your response. If the person involved is a business partner, you may find you don’t see eye to eye, and it may be revealed that your business partner has not been entirely transparent and supportive. Under these circumstances, you may see red, and leave. In any case, keep your schedule light near this date.

Monthly Horoscopes : Aries (March 21 - April 19) Your Monthly Forecast June 2014

It’s time to travel and leave your everyday cares behind. Life has, at times, been quite demanding, and although you are learning how to make your mark on the world, you owe yourself a little time in fresh air and sunshine to clear your head. Focus on the little things that make life special. The new moon of May 29 late last month was just your cup of tea - with a friendly nod to Mars, it will open the door to a flurry of travel, for this new moon’s a peach. In early June, plan to flee to a town nearby - bring a camera, a pen, and journal. Choose a few chic weekend pieces for your suitcase along with sunscreen, and you’ll be set.

In the first part of June, you may also get welcome advice or assistance from your sister or brother, and if you were thinking of travelling to see your sibling or cousin, that too would be a good idea. If you want to enact a plan you’ve discussed, such as to buy or rent property together, Mercury will be retrograde from June 7 until July 1, and that’s not a time to etch anything in stone. Wrap things up as quickly as possible, in the first days of June.

More travel opportunities will come at the full moon, June 12, and any travel you take at this time will be even more special than a getaway taken earlier. Lighting your ninth house of learning and adventure, this new moon will coax you to travel much farther afield. As an Aries, you love adventure, so you may decide on a camping or hiking trip, or one involving a sport that brings on a feeling of excitement in you. Uranus in Aries will be in an angle denoting extreme harmony, so you may spontaneously decide to pack and go on a whim - perfect!

In terms of relationships, watch June 13, when Mars and Pluto will have a tug of war. It appears someone, in love or that you report to in your career, will likely take a hard line and push you hard to accept a stance you seem to want to resist. As an Aries you know how to stand up for yourself, so no worries - you will protect your turf, but doing so might take a lot out of you.

Good news about money is likely to come on June 18, when Venus exchanges beams with Jupiter. The news may have to do with salary, a property bid, or the sale or purchase of furniture or other things for the home.

Your most stressful day will be June 24, when your ruler, Mars in Libra, will go toe to toe with Uranus in Aries, pushing a relationship to the brink. Take a breath and think before you speak. However, if you feel a partner’s transgression has been unacceptable, then speak your mind and let the chips fall where they may.

In the last week of the month, the mood will change, and you will have a chance to move toward grasping a dream close to you, possibly involving home or family. Your first step in achieving a dream, especially one involving property, is to collect information. When it comes to real estate, you will be successful in gathering all the facts you need after the new moon in Cancer, June 27, and continuing two weeks.

The idea of moving, renovating, or re-decorating seems to have been percolating in your thoughts all month, so after this new moon, you’ll be given the chance to take action. Neptune will be friendly to this new moon, so you will be ultra-creative - perfect if you will be working on a home design project. Neptune also rules the sea, so perhaps you will rent a cottage by the sea or other beautiful body of water. It’s clear that the location that you choose to visit this month will inspire you. If you are creative, bring your tools - paintbrushes, film, laptop - or if you love to cook, gather up fresh produce and spices at a farmer’s roadside market. What a truly lovely way to end the month.

The first week of July brings Mercury out of retrograde, so the tempo will pick up, but a band of stormy planets will roll in during July’s first week. You may have to battle a boss or business partner/ competitor/ detractor. Everyone, of every sign will feel the tension. Clouds will clear and become very sunny and bright for you from mid-to-end of July. Sit tight, dear Aries - all things come to those who wait.

Monthly Horoscopes : Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) Your Monthly Forecast June 2014

As you begin June, you may be thinking deeply about your partner and may want to decide if you want to create a life together. If you know you are in love, and you are already engaged, this may be a joyous time, for you will draw closer. If you’ve been dating seriously, but not too long, the new moon of late last month, May 28, must have started you thinking about what you really want in a partner, and whether the person you’ve been dating is marriage material. It may be time to decide. If you are already wed, that new moon may bring developments from your partner - surprising, positive news- and life will remain lively together.

If you are not dating, you may use this “couple up” energy in a business sense, and may be ready to hire a business partner, agent, manager, publicist, lawyer, or accountant if you are convinced you can collaborate effectively. If you want to move ahead, begin talks but agree to sign papers in July, because Mercury will retrograde June 7 to July 1.

Whenever Mercury is out of phase, it is never a time to sign important papers or launch new plans, and as you read this, you are already too close to the retrograde to try to quickly sign and go. Mercury rules judgment, perception, analysis, translation, communication, contracts, and negotiation, but when retrograde, makes us forgetful, or makes us rush, adding to the proclivity for error. Later, you may wonder, “What was I thinking??” Mercury also rules your tenth house of fame, slowing your career progress this month, so be patient. Things will normalize in July and August, your best months to make excellent career progress.

The good work you do is likely to bring praise on June 18 when Venus contacts Jupiter. A generous bonus or commission is likely to follow too. Jupiter is your ruling planet, so on this day money is likely to find a way to your door.

The full moon this month, June 12, will appear in Sagittarius, so an endeavor or relationship that is dearly important to you will come to culmination within four days of this date. That full moon might accent a close relationship, your health and fitness, or something else that’s a big priority to you. On this day, plus or minus one day, things should go surprisingly well! That full moon will be in ideal angle to Uranus, planet of surprise. Because Uranus is in your romantic sector (fifth house), you may meet someone new or go to the next level of closeness with someone you are dating. If you are married or have a child, the good news may center on a pregnancy or bring a happy development in a child you have now.

Still, your personal life seems to be unstable at times. On Tuesday, June 24, be on alert for a touchy confrontation with a lover, older child, or close friend, due to the angry opposition of Mars to Uranus. This will be a hard day for just about everyone, so know that you must treat any relationship as if it were made of nitroglycerine. Don’t rock the boat. This aspect is nearly identical in sign and degree that occurred last December 23-24. Do you remember anything that may have come up? If so, the theme expressed may need further discussion to get to closure.

You will see financial opportunity and possible gain from the new moon, June 27, plus ten days. While you will have emphasis on salary in July, this new moon will allow you to focus on commissions, royalties, licensing fees, inheritance, insurance payouts, settlements, division of property in a divorce, child support, and other such matters. This new moon will be well angled to Neptune, so matters involving the buying, selling, or leasing real estate should go well. If you need a new mortgage or want to refinance the one you have, use this new moon to make application, but because Mercury will be retrograde, wait until early July to send in your paperwork or to meet with your banker.

Romantically, with Mars, the ruler of your house of new love, circulating in your house of friendship, if you are single, most of your friends will be angels, willing to make introductions for you. If you are attached, Venus, planet of love, will enter your house of your close, committed relationship from June 23 to July 17, a wonderful time to bond closer to your partner and to plan to get more of what you both need most - a little fun.
