Monthly Horoscopes : Libra (September 23 - October 22) Your Monthly June 2011

The eclipses are back, and this time we have no less than three coming to us in a row, each two weeks apart. Eclipses arrive on new moons and full moons and are like new moons or full moons on steroids - they are powerful! They often bring dramatic, fast moving events that you don’t expect, for they come from the outside world in. Eclipses almost always give us an important piece of information we did not have before, so that afterward we feel changed, enlightened by what we learned, and it changes our perception and understanding of the subject at hand. You’re ready, dear Libra. It is only through change that we can experience progress.

It’s been years since we have seen three eclipses packed into such a tiny space of time, so it’s sure to be a month with a great deal of news. The eclipses will arrive two weeks apart, giving you just enough time to catch your breath before the next one arrives.

The last one of the three, due July 1, is the one for you to watch, for it will affect your career situation, possibly quite dramatically. Sometimes eclipses bring news a month to the day earlier (such as in May), or one month to the day later (July), plus or minus one week, so there is a chance you have already seen some of the dramatic events of these eclipses last month. Circle August 16-17 on your calendar too, as Mars will trigger the precise degrees of the July 1 eclipse on those days, and I advise you not to be traveling at that time.

Let’s get started looking at these three eclipses in detail. After I have finished telling you about them, I will briefly move on to some of the other interesting planetary events happening in this action-packed month.

The first eclipse, June 1, will be a solar eclipse and will fall in your ninth house. That house rules foreign people and places, travel abroad or a far distance, your higher education, officials in academia, as well as the media, including publishing and broadcasting positions and projects. The June 1 solar eclipse will be quite friendly, so you may emerge from the first week of June saying to yourself, “I can do this!” and indeed, you can, dear Libra!

New moon eclipses, like this one June 1, tend to bring new opportunities and happy events. If you are currently seeking a new position with the media, you may see lots of activity. Your phone will be ringing and your email will be overflowing. Keep your schedule light because it’s about to fill up quickly after June 1.

This eclipse, as said, will be in Gemini, so there’s a strong chance you’d get TWO serious offers because Gemini is what the ancients called a “double-bodied sign” that always is looking for its lost twin. There’s also a possibility you’ll travel, possibly to a city quite far from yours, or even overseas. Gemini is a fast-moving, breezy sign, so whatever happens is likely to happen fast.

Saturn will make a comforting and stabilizing vibration to this eclipse of June 1, and that means whatever happens may help you feel more secure. Decisions and actions you take, particularly near June 7 or 8, will stay in place a very long time, for you will be building a foundation for the future.

If you have an ongoing court case pending, you may hear news about it in the first half of June, too. Perhaps the opposing party will make you an offer or the court will hand down a decision, and either way it seems you will be pleased with the outcome. If you need to initiate a new lawsuit (not work on an ongoing one), the same rules apply - I suggest you wait a week after the eclipse June 1 before you file, for best results. Eclipses stir up a lot of cosmic dust and a lot of information will be hurled at you at once. You need time to sift through what you learn before you build a strategy, so take your time and then file papers.

Neptune, currently in your sixth house of work assignments, will be in hard angle to the June 1 eclipse (but fortunately not super-close in degree). Neptune might be close enough, however, to temporarily cloud your view and understanding of what would be expected of you in any new position. Ask lots of questions. If you work freelance or have your own business, find out more about the project being brought to you now, and ask which methods your client would like you to use to get the job done.

Finally, the ninth house is an intellectual, thinking house of the horoscope, where we weigh and reflect on various issues and subjects in our effort to find truth. In a month where your sector of attitude, opinion, ethics, and judgment will be brilliantly lit, you may change your mind about holding a certain stance you’d held for a long time. You may get new evidence or a piece of data that will change your view of the situation entirely.

No matter what happens in early June, if your birthday falls on October 3, plus or minus five days, you will feel the June 1 eclipse more and benefit from it, either immediately or in time. Any eclipse can bring an out-of-left-field surprise, but this one seems more likely to please you.

The next eclipse, coming June 15, will be a full moon, total eclipse of the moon and fall in Sagittarius at 24 degrees. This one will be more emotional than the solar eclipse that came earlier on June 1.

With lunar eclipses, something ends. Because a full moon is involved, you may feel a bit wistful because you may feel the passage of time. You may feel that a certain part of your life has ended and changed forever. That is a part of life, but it never makes it any easier. I find most endings hard, so I am not one to give you advice! Keep in mind that all endings release an opportunity for something new to be born soon, so it’s not really the end.

This total eclipse of June 15 may bring a big focus on your sister or brother in coming weeks, or it may center your focus on a cousin or neighbor. A sibling is the more likely subject of this eclipse, but if you don’t have one or are not close to yours if you do, you might see news with one of the other individuals I mentioned. Something is coming to critical mass, and you may be needed to help this person. Often we have no idea when a family member needs us, so keep your antenna up and check in often. It’s also possible you’ll be doing something in concert with your sibling, such as to take a trip, buy or sell a house / condo, or open a business together.

This same eclipse of June 15 may bring vital papers for you to sign, and if so, go slowly. You may want to negotiate for a little more time to reflect on the deal. Decisions made in the light of a full moon eclipse can be “off” sometimes, so don’t be pressured to sign quickly. Give yourself a week to think things over and in the meantime, go to a lawyer to get her advice. The rule at eclipse time (plus or minus one week) is this - observe, but do not initiate. Listen carefully but try not to act directly on the date of the eclipse. You want to leave a little space between your action and the eclipse of about a week.

You may travel at mid-month too, but if so, you won’t cover as much ground as you may have done earlier in the month. Instead, if you do have to travel at mid-month, you’ll more likely go to a city or town that is nearby, within the space of say, New York and Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco, or London and Paris. Not far!

If your birthday falls on October 17, plus or minus four days, you will feel this eclipse the most and will also find a way to benefit from it.

The big eclipse you need to watch will arrive as a solar eclipse in Cancer 9 degrees due July 1. It will light your tenth house of career, and this will be the last eclipse that you will feel in this part of your chart. Eclipses in Cancer, highlighting your profession, have been coming toward you for two years - July 21, 2009, December 30, 2009, July 11, 2010, and now this one. I will also add the monster eclipse of June 24, 2010, of last year that affected many Libras from its perch in Capricorn. To say you’ve been going through massive career shifts is putting it mildly. This last eclipse might be one of the most powerful, and doubly so if your birthday falls October 2, plus or minus five days. It is a new moon, so it should open a new path, but the path has some strong obstacles that you’ll need to navigate.

Think back 19 years, to June 30, 1992. On that date you experienced a very similar eclipse at the same degree - 9 degrees Cancer. Can you recall what happened at that time? Other planets in space have since moved to new positions, but that July 1 eclipse will be almost identical in degree to the one you had back then. Perhaps you can remember a general theme that emerged then that will come up again now in a different, but related, way. Actually ALL the eclipses this month, including the ones June 1 and June 15, will fall on the same mathematical degree as the ones in June 1992, as eclipses repeat every 19 years. (Just think back 20 years and add one year.)

The July 1 eclipse will be tense, and I feel everyone, of very sign, not only Libras, will feel tension in the air. We will have major outer planets squaring off in the four corners of the sky. The July 1 solar eclipse will light your career sector and be in hard angle to Pluto in Capricorn in your home and family sector. Both will be in hard 90-degree angles to Uranus in Aries in your marriage / partnership sector and in 90-degree angle to Saturn in Libra in your first house of personality and vitality. Saturn is adding responsibilities to your shoulders, and at times, Saturn has made you doubt yourself. Don’t. You can handle whatever comes up.

Cardinal crosses are formed when all planets and (if applicable) the Sun are in cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. That is happening now. You may have to cajole a romantic or business partner, headhunter, or agent into accepting a decision you’ve made. Pluto will be exerting a lot of force from the home sector, so you may wonder which way to turn first. Everyone, it seems, will want your attention.

When a cardinal cross - one of the most energetic and forceful of all cross patterns - occurs, it means that a matter before you has to be decided now, without delay. By that I mean you won’t have the luxury of putting things aside for another time and place. Others will be quite insistent to hear your decisions. If you don’t feel you’ve considered all the elements in the situation or plan, ask for as much time as you can get to reflect on what is occurring.

I suggest you not be away on vacation during the last week of June, which will be action packed, due to a tough aspect over June 25, when the Sun and Uranus will duke it out, and June 27, when Pluto will take direct aim to the Sun. You will be feeling urgent energy building at that time. The solar eclipse will be a few days later, July 1, and things will certainly come into focus by then.

If you were born on October 2 plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse too most directly, but you will need to work out a plan to deal with the obstacles created by this eclipse July 1.

Elsewhere in your chart, more things are happening, but this time, my news is very upbeat. Saturn will turn direct on June 12, and this is good news, for Saturn is in Libra and has been retrograde for nearly five months, since January 26. If you’ve been trying to get proposals and deals to crystallize since the start of this year and have wondered why nothing seemed to gel, it was Saturn retrograde. Once Saturn is in strong shape, it will help all parts of your life, especially in regard to your dearest goals and also in regard to home-and-family-related decisions.

Now let’s turn to some more very good news! Your financial future looks very bright, dear Libra, now that Jupiter will make his monumental move into Taurus on June 4. Once in Taurus, Jupiter will light your house of “other people’s money” - joint resources - for a full year, until June 11, 2012. This is the first time since the year 2000 that you’ve had this exceptional advantage! You will find that credit and capital is easier for you to be granted from banks and credit card companies and if you need venture capital or an investment in your business, show your business plan because you are likely to get it, with superb terms, too. If you are in college, apply for a scholarship or financial aid for tuition - you are in a perfect position to be approved.

You may soon get a new mortgage, or if needed, you may refinance your present mortgage, and again, the terms would be excellent. Do you want a vacation or weekend home? Start to look for one - you may be able to find a bargain.

If you are one of the homeowners that are suffering because you are described as “under water” because you bought your house but saw it depreciate in value, talk to your banker, especially if you are in danger of losing your home. At long last you have the right aspects to help you find a way out. Taurus is tied to the land in many ways, in terms of real estate in general but also farming and agriculture. All home-related properties are getting a boost from Jupiter now, dear Libra. You really do have a superb outlook for finances.

There are other ways Jupiter may help you financially. You may see a big commission, bonus, royalty, or advance check, say, for a creative project you are doing, or book you are writing. In the coming year, you may get a nice tax refund or insurance reimbursement. Alternatively, you may be given an inheritance, possibly now, decades before your parent passes away, as many parents today are granting all or part of their inheritance to their children while they are alive, so that their children can use the money to make a down payment on a house or go to college.

A sum of money, usually granted in a large one-time chunk is likely to find its way to you now.

Summary

This month brings the return of eclipses, so it’s sure to be action packed. The first eclipse, a solar new moon, June 1, will bring opportunities in publishing, broadcasting, or in academia. Solar eclipses are always exciting, because they open doors in surprising ways. Libra has not had the easiest time lately, so this eclipse will unlock a treasure chest of options that will cheer you.

Both the June 1 solar eclipse and the one next, June 15, will bring you a chance to travel, both far and wide. If you need to go overseas, do so during June’s first ten days. At mid-month, you may also have to settle an important matter with your sister or brother, so trips closer to home will be more convenient and appealing. If you feel the urge to take a proper vacation of a week or two, do so in June, the only month mid-year you will have time to do so.

July through mid-September will bring two hugely important career phases for you, due in part to the third eclipse, a new moon, July 1. You may start to see events shift already by late June, for the time near June 25 and June 27 brings some urgent energy to the surface. Spend all of June getting ready, say, by dusting off your resume. If you are creative, update your portfolio or reel, too.

The July 1 eclipse will be challenging, and it will have to do with your career. Do not be away on vacation at this time - you need to be back to handle whatever comes up. A cardinal cross of planets in the sky is about to create tensions, and any situation that cannot sustain itself will now collapse.

You seem to be involved in financial matters during the first three weeks too, and on June 17, financial luck will be strong, due to Mercury’s friendly contact with Jupiter and Neptune.

Romantically, Venus will be in Gemini from June 9 to July 3. Mars will be another planet dedicated to boosting your love life, and will be helpful to you from June 20 to August 3. As you see, you’ll have an ideal phase coming up for finding fun and love. If you are dating, you have started to think about making a serious promise and you seem to be moving quickly in that direction. If your partner is not ready to make a commitment to you, you will wait, but not forever. Saturn is giving you a sense of urgency that will force you to move toward a stable, long-term situation.

The Venus in Gemini (June 9 to July 3) will also give you the perfect moment for improving your looks too, from booking a salon visit to shopping for new clothes. Pay special attention to the dates Venus will move through Gemini, for on those days, you’ll find your most flattering selections.

Dates to Note for Libra

The solar eclipse June 1 in Gemini will bring opportunity in regard to travel, publishing, broadcasting, and academia.

Now that Jupiter will enter Taurus June 4 for the coming year, money matters should improve. Applications for large funds, such as for mortgage, venture capital, lines of credit, and so forth could be improved now.

Travel is becoming a big new force in your life, due to both the June 1 and June 15 eclipses. Distant travel is emphasized, although near June 15 you would go a much shorter distance.

Mars in Gemini from June 20 to August 3, is sure to extend the emphasis on travel not only this month, but also will likely do so for months into the future. You may get a client in a distant city who you have to see often, as one possibility, or take a position that requires you to travel more than usual.

Your sister or brother may be on your mind, as the full moon eclipse on June 15 will see to that, now or in months to come. You may be doing something together. Or, your sibling may be making news in your life.

Your career is about to heat up - watch the third eclipse, July 1. August through mid-September will also be important months.

Best, most romantic dates for you: 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 12, 19, and 29.

Monthly Horoscopes : Aries (March 21 - April 19) Your Monthly Forecast June 2011

This will be a big month because there will be three major eclipses in the space of one tiny month - June 1, June 15, and July 1. Eclipses bring vast changes, and the news they bring always comes from the outside in to you, so you usually have no control over what you hear or what happens.

Eclipses look for weak links in any situation or relationship to bring to light, and they also shake us up, so that we can pull out of our rut and get moving again. They banish our hesitation, complacency, fear, and indecision, and fire up desire and determination. You won’t feel all eclipses equally, the reason I always alert you to which of you with specific birthdays will likely get eclipse news.

To give you an overview, the first eclipse will be a solar eclipse in Gemini 10 degrees and will come on June 1. The second, a total eclipse of the moon (full moon), will fall in Sagittarius at 24 degrees and is due June 15.

The last eclipse, another solar (new moon) eclipse, will fall in Cancer 9 degrees on July 1. Each falls precisely two weeks apart in a “new moon, full moon, new moon” pattern. Eclipses differ from normal new moons and full moons because they have at least three times the power and have a much longer period of influence.

You may want to check my special essay on eclipses that I wrote - “How to Deal With Eclipses” - on Astrology Zone after you read your Aries forecast for June. Check the quick announcement at the very top of this page for the URL. Also don’t forget to also read my new special report I just finished for you about the move of Uranus into Aries - the URL is in the same place, with the quick announcements at the top of this page.

Let’s look at the three eclipses that are coming now. Typically we experience two eclipses at a time, so to have three due is quite unusual. This means that June could easily become a turning point for you. These eclipses are similar to the ones you had on the very same dates in 1992 - eclipses repeat every 19 years, so it’s time to revisit this series of eclipses again. If you can recall anything important that happened in mid-year 1992, rest assured, you won’t have a rerun of the same situation, but certain similar themes may come up.

The first eclipse, June 1, will be in Gemini, and it is the friendliest and most helpful of the three. All solar eclipses are new moons, and those usually bring new and unexpected opportunities. Gemini is an air sign, and you are a fire sign, and air makes fire burn more brightly. That means this eclipse is compatible to your Sun sign, and in general, you always fare better with a compatible eclipse, even if you find the changes to be a bit stressful initially. I don’t expect them to trouble you at all, but I say that in case you feel that way - I cannot see everything in your chart from where I sit.

Don’t worry about anything being stressful - the arrival of a new baby, a brand new career position, or moving into a beautiful new house all can be stressful too, but they are certainly worth any adjustment you would need to make. You see my point. All changes, even good ones, can bring on stress. Stress can be good for us, which is why the universe provides it from time to time. Stress keeps us alert and moves us from one stage to another, and always brings insight and maturity.

Mercury rules Gemini, the sign the eclipse June 1 will be in, so I always have to look to see how the eclipse’s ruling planet is behaving to decide how things may work out for you. Mercury will be in practical Taurus at the time of the eclipse and stand very close to Venus, which is Taurus’ ruler. This is a good sign, for Venus soothes and brightens all that it touches. Keep in mind that all eclipses are on a mission to illuminate truth, sometimes in a startling way. They move things forward very, very rapidly.

This solar eclipse may find you looking over the fine print of a contract to sign sometime in the week that follows June 1. This is a good time to make a promise or an agreement, as Saturn will be in perfect angle to the eclipse. This suggests any course of action you take will be ongoing a very long time, a comforting thought.

The fact that Mercury is moving in Taurus, as well as Venus; your own ruler, Mars; and soon, Jupiter, suggests that you may start to make a great deal of money quite soon. See what comes up as a result of the eclipse. It will be up to you to follow up on any interesting proposals that come your way, but you’ll likely do so joyfully.

With many planets stacking up in earth signs at the time of the eclipse, take a practical, realistic approach and one grounded in sound research. There will be times I will advise you to take a wild risk or present an idea that is off the grid, but this is not the time. Stay conservative.

As said, Jupiter will leave Aries on June 4, and enter Taurus, representing the second stage of the cycle you are in now. You entered the first phase of a twelve-year cycle when Jupiter entered Aries and made you the celestial favorite. Now you will move to phase two, where you will begin to see fruition to all the ideas you planted previously. This is another indication that you will soon enter a high-earning period that will remain in place for at least twelve months, until June 2012. Whatever fruits begin to materialize during the coming year could well stay with you for an entire decade or more.

The money I see coming for you will be earned income, as salary or fees - not money you win or borrow - and that’s good news! You’ll be able to command your price, and much of your success will be based on the spadework you put into your career over the past five months, while Jupiter was in Aries. The work you did last summer from June 6 to September 9, 2010, will also count as especially potent time. (If you are in the southern hemisphere, it was winter, of course!) Think of the projects you were working on last year and earlier this year - one of them is about blossom in a big, beautiful way.

You may travel in early June, but if so, it will be a short distance, say, the distance between London and Paris, or San Francisco and Los Angeles, Boston and New York - a short distance, or even shorter than these examples. Travel is well indicated, and it looks as though you will go for business reasons.

Your sister or brother may be on your mind, too - you may do something together, or hear news, and your sibling may be the reason you are traveling or not, but a sibling or cousin is certainly coming up as someone you may be conversing with quite a bit.

Let’s go back to the business side of this June 1 eclipse, for I see possibilities for your career.

Gemini is the sign of the writer-journalist, so you may find that writing, speaking, editing, TV production and news, publicity and PR, blogging, social networking, advertising, and sales will somehow factor into the eclipse. There are many ways this can manifest, so you will have to stretch your imagination to figure out the connection to your life.

The June 1 eclipse should be a positive, powerful one for you, so it’s worth thinking about for a moment. For example, you may be a publicist and get many new clients now, OR you may work in ANY field, say, in your own business, and receive some superb publicity yourself for work you did recently. That publicity will cause your “stock” to skyrocket in the marketplace. Gemini is a fast energy, so whatever happens, on any scale, in any area, as a result of the June 1 eclipse will happen fast!

Those Aries born on March 31 plus or minus five days will feel the June 1 eclipse the most, but all Aries will notice something special seems to be in the air.

No matter when your birthday happens to fall, if you’ve been frustrated about the lack of progress in your career because you are (still) unemployed or are employed but feel stuck, I have exceptionally good news for you! Saturn rules your solar tenth house of career (no matter what time you were born) and Saturn’s been retrograde since January 26 of this year.

Over the past five months of 2011, if you feel you’ve been trying to walk up a slippery slide that kept pushing you back to square one no matter how hard you worked at getting ahead, Saturn retrograde was likely the reason.

Saturn will go direct on June 12, so watch the days that surround that date closely, for you should see some gratifying career developments at that time. Whenever a powerful planet goes direct (or retrograde) you need to keep a close eye on it during the date that planet turns, and add plus or minus three days. Those days will be quite telling of an imminent change. Just watch and see what happens for you. If you have been earnest in your desire to move up, things should begin to change for you for the better. Help is on the way.

I like starting any new position or business when Saturn is direct, not retrograde. When you open the doors to your new business or start a new position, you want to have the best possible cosmic DNA, and that means having Saturn (long-term growth and gain) and Jupiter (profits) moving direct. AFTER June 12, meaning from June 13 on, Saturn and Jupiter will be speeding along nicely, so when it comes to your career, you will soon be unstoppable.

You will have career help next month from the full moon July 19 too, so keep your chin up. I love that Jupiter, in your house of salary, is currently in ideal angle to Pluto in your house of fame - wow! That’s extraordinary, and something you’ve not had in years! This says you can get a powerful position that pays you generously. You have to be making an effort to see this luck, but of course you will do so! This is your big chance, dear Aries!

This month, I will add that, as a rule, I always prefer you not act on the day of an eclipse (June 1, June 15, or July 1, for example) but rather leave a little space of a few days around that date. The rule is to respond, but try not to initiate on an eclipse. If someone else chose the date, that’s OK - you are simply responding to a date they are dictating. This is not always possible, but you can keep this rule in mind.

The second eclipse will arrive on June 15 as a full moon in Sagittarius and a total eclipse of the moon. This one will mark a more emotional time, simply partly because it is a full moon. This total eclipse of the moon will fall in your ninth house of long distance travel and foreign people and places. This same house rules academia, publishing, broadcasting, the media, and the justice system.

At first glance these areas may seem very disparate and unrelated, but they are all united because they are grounded in intellectual and ethical thinking, and deal with the taking in and dispersal of information, as well as distant travel, which is, according to the ancients, a form of higher education and study.

Jupiter rules the sign that this eclipse is in, Sagittarius, and as said, Jupiter has just newly arrived in your second solar house of money, possessions, and salary; so again, this eclipse may bring up discussions about your earned income or the purchase of something important. One of the areas I listed seems poised to pop up for you. Fortunately, Sagittarius, the place the second eclipse will fall, is a fire sign like yours. That doesn’t mean things will necessarily go smoothly, but it does suggest you will deal well with whatever comes up and in time it will work to your favor.

The ninth house also rules certain relatives, like aunts and uncles, in-laws, and people outside your immediate family. It is possible you will need to suddenly travel to see or help one of these family members near the eclipse of June 15, or later, when Mars moves over the degree of the opposite sign (Gemini) of the eclipse, July 25.

The total eclipse of the moon on June 15 will be tied to events that happened on or near December 21.

If you were born on April 13, plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse more closely than the one on June 1.

The last eclipse will be the kicker - the most important one of the three - a solar eclipse in Cancer at 9 degrees on July 1. This new moon eclipse will light up your home and property sector. With four planets in cardinal signs, you may feel a need to do things with a sense of purpose and urgency. All those planets will be at hard angles at one another, giving this eclipse enormous energy.

There are many possibilities. You may move into a new house or be renovating property. You may need to move to take a new position, and so very quickly.

Or, you may be focused on your mother or father, or other family member, because a Cancer eclipse will also focus on your original home and those who formed the foundation of your life. You may tear out walls or clean out closets. You may order furniture or bring in the painters. Something new is beginning, but may happen when a situation ends or someone leaves. In this eclipse the planets will be arguing with one another, causing you to feel pulled in several directions.

The planet most tightly challenging the eclipse in Cancer at 9 degrees will be Saturn in your house of committed partner. Saturn, however, rules your house of career, and they are at odds. Your personal partner may be upset about a professional decision you are about to make. Or, your and your business partner may be at odds. There are many manifestations, but you will feel some tension that you will have to resolve.

On top of this, Pluto will oppose the new moon eclipse at 6 degrees, adding pressure, and possibly an element of unfairness from a VIP. I say this because Pluto will be standing in your tenth house of career reputation and status and aim his stare directly at the new moon and Sun. At the same time, Uranus in Aries will fight the eclipse too, from his perch in the first house of your personality, making you want to break out and rebel. In short, it will seem every part of your life will vie for your attention. Thankfully, your finances should stay steady and strong, so if you need money to take care of fast-moving events, you will have the money you need.

Everyone, of every sign, will be feeling somewhat tense at or near eclipse time July 1, or later, when Mars runs over the 9 degrees of Cancer on August 16 and 17. This eclipse will advance the discussions and events to the one that occurred earlier this year, January 4, and advance the conversation of what happened then.

I would suggest you do all in your power to keep your schedule light at this time. As said, you may have planned to make a big residential move or change, and of course you need to do that. What I am saying is, don’t pile more on your plate - you will have enough to do. There will be rapidly changing elements that will call out for your attention. Don’t expect things to go according to plan, they won’t (not to the letter), but that is par for the course.

Think back to June 30, 1992 - a theme that came up then may echo again, but in a completely different way.

I will return to a discussion of this eclipse next month and we will all be together and share information and insights.

As we go through June, I will be tweeting about the three eclipses in a special Eclipse Watch Series. That is, I will be writing about the three eclipses on a day-by-day basis. You don’t have to tweet too if you prefer not to - you can simply stand by and read my tweets by going to www.twitter.com/astrologyzone for daily updates. My tweets will be linked to my Facebook page too (my page is called “Susan Miller Astrology Zone” on Facebook). Ideally, we will all share our stories of what occurs this month in our lives, so that all of us can learn from each other.

Thank you, dear Aries!

Summary

Two eclipses this month in Gemini (June 1) and Sagittarius (June 15) spell change. Lucky you, you can make just about any shift work in your favor. Travel, both near and far, seems necessary and will likely be taken to further business, so keep your bags handy. The need to leave home will only increase in the coming seven weeks after your ruler, Mars, enters Gemini on June 20, to stay through August 3. Not only will the eclipses bring opportunities to travel, but also so will Mars and Uranus on June 27, a day when all sorts of surprise opportunities are likely to come up.

The third eclipse, July 1, will herald changes in your family, mainly regarding your mother or father, or in regard to a residential move or refurbishing plan. Changes may be initiated by you, or come as a necessity, much to your surprise.

If you were not planning any changes to your home, you may hear surprising news about your family. Be ready. This eclipse is not an easy one for anyone, so in that sense, we are all joined together in the same situation. Take one day at a time, and remember, it’s best not to initiate anything new, but to respond. This is not always possible, but if you can maneuver events away from June 1, June 15, and July 1, so much the better.

Your expenses seem to have been running high due to the position of Mars, but generous amounts of cash are about to flow in, most likely in the form of earned income, thanks to the new move of Jupiter, the planet of generosity, on June 4 into your salary sector. It seems your ship is about to come in, dear Aries. You have time to amass your fortune, for Jupiter will remain in this area of you chart to stay a year. From then on, do not be shy, for it will be time to speak up for your due. Others will want to pay you well for your services, so let them!

Saturn, the planet that rules your career, after months of being retrograde, will move forward on June 12 - if you are looking for a major career position, or have been hoping for a promotion or waiting for client approval on an idea, watch the days that surround June 12 for sudden happy news that will make you sing with glee.

For romance, your most likely way of meeting someone new will be while on those journeys, so always look your best. June 11-12 could be the weekend when that fateful meeting happens.

Attached Aries are learning to dance with their partner without stepping on toes. All partnerships require give and take, and now, with Saturn in your seventh house, you may be required to give more than your usual share to your partner. Do so cheerfully.

Dates to Note for Aries

Jupiter enters Taurus on June 4, for a full 12-month stay. Watch your earned income shoot skyward from now on.

Travel nearby on or just after the eclipse June 1.

You may sell a creative idea June 8, thanks to Jupiter and Neptune in perfect sync.

Your sister or brother may have big news for you in the first two weeks of June.

When Saturn goes direct on June 12, you will find your career progress will pick up speed, now and in months ahead. Finally!

The full moon eclipse of June 15 may see you travel quite a distance, either overseas or across many miles.

June 27 may bring a sudden, spontaneous short trip that you’d enjoy.

In the last week of June, you may be thinking about a residential move or change in your present space, due to the coming July 1 eclipse in your home sector.

Best, most romantic dates for you: June 1, 2, 5, 9, 14, 24, and 29.

Monthly Horoscopes : Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) Your Monthly Forecast June 2011

This month will bring some monumental changes, due to the arrival of three eclipses in Gemini, Sagittarius, and Cancer, and to the move of Jupiter, your ruling planet, in a new sign. If you’ve felt stuck and assumed nothing much would ever change, this month will prove to you that things do eventually change quite a bit, and often for the better.

Let’s first talk about Jupiter, your ruling planet, for its position will show where new opportunities are starting to be cooked up for you. It also shows where your thoughts will be directed, for the position of your ruling planet is very important - it drives your ego and your goals - and it also helps you to see results when other transiting planets work with Jupiter.

Jupiter is called the bearer of gifts and luck, including financial gain, because he gives you what you need and what you want, just to spoil you! Jupiter also has healing qualities to give, so he can boost your health in a big way by helping you locate the right medical and fitness professionals to help you when you need them. You are very fortunate to have such a bright, happy planet as your guardian planet.

From June 4, 2011 to June 12, 2012, continuing uninterrupted for a full year, Jupiter will take up residence in your sixth house of work projects. This house is NOT the area of your chart that covers big promotions or to-die-for publicity (that would be the tenth house), but instead your sixth house rules day-to-day experience with your work assignments. This house describes the nature of your work, the methods you use to approach the jobs on your desk, how you enjoy the assignments, whether they pay well, and so forth.

Jupiter is a luxurious, expansive planet, so from now on, if you work in your own business or on a freelance basis, you will find generating business to be fairly easy to do, and the assignments should pay well, too. If you work for others, you’ll be the one in your department that the boss gives the most plum assignments, making you the envy of your co-workers, but in a sweet way.

Your company may soon move to new headquarters, and you’ll likely get some new computer equipment or software to make your job easier. If people are being moved into new spaces, you’ll get one of the biggest and sunniest offices of your teammates. The workflow will be fairly even, too - you will be busy - so you’ll likely have to hire new recruits, but finding them shouldn’t be hard. In fact, during this coming twelve months, you’ll find your subordinates, both at work and at home (such as a new nanny or babysitter), to be gems that make your life better and easier.

Your sixth house also rules your health, and I have found with my own research that a Jupiter visit to the sixth house is the single best place to have Jupiter if you hope to lose weight, get fit and healthy, and feel like a million dollars. You might want to start by joining a new gym, one that makes you happy when you walk through the door. I love sunny environments that have fresh flowers and a sleek design - it perks me up.

Get yourself a new pair of sneakers and attractive workout clothes, and do the kind of activity you love. In terms of food, many people find that companies that offer regular meal deliveries that are nutritionally pre-portioned for the customer to be a wonderful way to get started losing weight. If you just eat what they give you, you are almost guaranteed to lose weight (and if you don’t lose the pounds, the people in customer support will help adjust your meals).

You have Mars in this house ruling fitness too, from June 1-19, a perfect time to begin. Be sure to add weights to your program, as Mars rules iron and weight lifting. Mars also rules boxing, fencing, and other aggressive, highly competitive sports, like running, so consider adding one of those, too! Taurus is a sign that loves to set up strict routines, so if you can set up a consistent routine, you will multiply your odds of success.

The fact that you have a series of eclipses coming your way in your sign and in your opposite sign of Gemini (falling six months away on the horoscope wheel) also suggests that you could soon be looking new and improved by the time this series of eclipses is over in May 2013. It need not take that long, of course - it could happen sooner. You truly have a wonderful opportunity to get to look great and feel energized.

If you have a chronic condition or a new health development, Jupiter in Taurus will help you find a doctor who understands your condition if you are willing to do the spadework to find the one for you. This is fortunate timing because sometimes eclipses in our own sign bring out health concerns that we need to address quickly to nip them in the bud. To have Jupiter in a health-oriented house will be quite an advantage.

Finally, the sixth house, where Jupiter will tour, rules small domestic animals, so you might want to find a dear little pet to add to your household. You may enjoy having a little dog to walk each morning, or a soft little kitten to cuddle in the evenings. Scientists say pets help improve some people’s health by lowering blood pressure and simply giving so much joy. You will have a year to decide when you’d like to choose your pet, so you do have time.

Now let’s turn to the eclipses that are cutting across key points in your chart this month. The first one, a new moon solar eclipse, will fall in Gemini on June 1, at 10 degrees, and light your house of close, committed partnerships. You may decide to sign a partnership deal with another businessperson, agent, publicist, or partner, or you might get engaged or married shortly after that eclipse occurs.

Not all eclipses are friendly, but this one will brim with opportunity, and it all will revolve around someone with whom you will want to combine energies. As a matter of fact, this eclipse will be in Gemini, the sign of twins, so you may be teaming up with two individuals this month on different fronts, say in your personal life and in business (or both in business). Mars will enter your partnership house on June 19, so you may see talks escalate to a new level of intensity by then. Saturn will send the June 1 eclipse a lovely stabilizing vibration, which means the partnership you make in early June will likely last a very long time.

The June 15 total eclipse of the moon (a full moon) in Sagittarius 24 degrees will have your name on it. Your old life is starting to fade into history, dear Sagittarius, and a new one is starting to be born now. You will notice this in the weeks that follow this eclipse, if not immediately.

If the earlier eclipse this month, June 1, was about the significant people around you who work closely with you, this one will help you focus on your own needs. Partners are likely to want to please you and will cheerfully go along with what you want, for Venus will be touring your seventh house of partnership, suggesting a smooth interaction.

It is time to dust off your wish list and re-examine your priorities. Are your goals the same as they were a few years ago, or would you like to delete or change some of them? The June 15 eclipse will be linked to the one that occurred last December 21, and will advance the discussion you had then to a new level of sophistication now. Watch to see developments.

If you were born on December 14, plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse more directly than other members of your sign.

The last eclipse in this three-part series, a solar new moon eclipse, will arrive on July 1 in Cancer at 9 degrees. This one will be somewhat troublesome, for planets aspecting this full moon will all be angry at one another. Everyone, of every sign, will be experiencing adjustments and tensions.

This July 1 new moon solar eclipse will fall in your eighth house of taxes, bank loans, venture capital, inheritance, severance, commissions, credit cards, court settlements, mortgages and refinance plans, insurance payouts, scholarships and tuition financial aid, and this is the area where you may find some difficulty. It is a new moon, so if there is a problem, it may take some time for you to sort out.

The reason I am expecting some stress with this eclipse is that Pluto will oppose the eclipse from your second house of income and personal reserves, suggesting you may have to write a check or feel unfairly pressured to accept terms you don’t like at all. At the same time, Saturn and Uranus will be in precise angles and degrees to give the eclipse difficulty too, quite unexpectedly so. This would be a very bad time to settle a divorce agreement or child support or custody battle.

Iwould like to add an aside before continuing on the topic of the July 1 eclipse. If you are looking at your insurance policies, with the arrival of Neptune in Pisces next year, to stay in your house of home for the coming thirteen years, have flood insurance, something you may have to add separately. Neptune is in Pisces now, but only until August 4, when it will retreat back into Aquarius. Hopefully, you’ve not had problems with water since Neptune briefly entered Pisces April 4. Get that insurance now, while you can. You may never need it, but I advise you to get it!

Going back to the July 1 eclipse, Saturn and Uranus will be in social houses, ruling friends, your sweetheart, and if you have them, your children, so a dilemma may come up regarding one or more individuals who fall into one of these categories in your life. You may have to delay or forfeit something you want to buy or do during this time until finances improve. With Mars opposite your Sun, you won’t feel a lot of warm and fuzzy cooperation from other people in the situation you are dealing with.

In any solar eclipse, the house ruling Leo (which is ruled by the Sun) comes into play, and that’s your solar ninth house, ruling legal decisions and actions, publishing and broadcasting industries, travel and relationships with foreign people afar. This is another indication that any legal action or big decision made at the time near the July 1 eclipse would be best delayed. A lot of things will be happening at once, with many cross currents. Open the window and see what flies in, dear Sagittarius. You will know what to do once the eclipse has spoken.

Concerning money - which is the topic of the July 1 eclipse - I will add that I am happy to see that Saturn, the planet that rules your second house of earned income, will go direct on June 12. This will help you manage your money more effectively and find ways to raise your income, too. Saturn has been retrograde since January 26, nearly five months, so if you found all your efforts to get ahead financially was one step forward, two steps back, you now know why. From June 12, you’ll find your financial situation clarified, and your efforts to generate more cash will have better traction in the future.

Think back to 1992 to see if you can recall anything that may have happened in June or July of that year. Eclipses repeat every 19 years, so back then, you had three eclipses at precisely the same mathematical degree as you will have this month, June 1, June 15, and June 30 (it arrived several hours earlier, pushing our new July 1 eclipse to the prior day.) The other planets in the sky have since moved, but perhaps you may recall a theme that emerged then that may be echoed now.

You may want to read my comprehensive essay on the nature of eclipses that I wrote for you, called “How to Deal With Eclipses.” Now that the eclipses are in your sign, you may want more information on the nature of eclipses and how they work, as well as the best way to respond to their challenges. Check the quick announcement at the very top of this page for the URL that will take you to another place on Astrology Zone.

Also don’t forget to read my new special report I just finished for you about Uranus in Aries - the URL is in the same place, with the quick announcements at the top of this page. Uranus will be in Aries for the coming even years - it will be good to know more about this new position of Uranus.

As a special service to my readers, as I go through June, I will be writing about the eclipses in my special “Eclipse Watch Series” on Twitter each day. You don’t have to tweet if you simply prefer to read (but not respond to) my updates. To see them, simply go to my page @astrologyzone. All my tweets will be linked to my Facebook page too, called “Susan Miller Astrology Zone” so you can read them there as well.

I hope you will share your stories of what happened to you this month so that we can all learn more about eclipses. Let’s also be sensitive to each other and be of help. Everyone will be undergoing quite a number of changes in June, both challenging and happy ones. In a month like this one, all kinds of news will come up. Share your stories, dear readers.

Summary

With a solar eclipse in your opposite sign of Gemini, and a total eclipse of the moon in Sagittarius, this is due to be a big month of change and for examining your needs and desires. It is time to decide on what goals should get top priority as you move forward in months ahead. Any person or situation that has frustrated you or gone on too long without progress or resolution will be up for review and you are likely to jettison that person from your life very soon.

The matter on your mind may relate to a close, committed relationship, a difficult career situation, or a matter regarding money, your living situation, or even your health. The universe will be testing the strength of all the elements in your life, and you are soon to see which, if any, link is weakest. Eclipses are known to create enormous amounts of energy and sudden change, so buckle up. Whatever comes up may relate to a conversation you had near the first eclipse that came by in this series, December 21.

Eclipses come by every five and a half months in pairs, so it is unusual to see three in a row, each two weeks apart, falling on a new moon, full moon, and lastly new moon. This means just about everyone will have a story to tell - keep your ears perked. This will be a June like none other in recent memory.

The first eclipse, a solar new moon eclipse of June 1, will open a new chapter in a relationship, and you seem to be in a serious mood, ready to make things official if there is one special person you’d like to be closer to in the future. This is a good time to be thinking along these lines, as events will move in the right direction. If there is a business partner or sweetheart you’d like to commit to, you will be moved to act now, and in the process be able to build a sense of security and stability.

The full moon, however, due June 15, may mark an emotional point of the month. An ongoing situation that first came to light on or in weeks subsequent to the December 21, 2010, eclipse will come up for discussion and need to be worked on again to advance it to a new stage. Something important in your life is either ending or culminating. Mercury, which in your case rules a partner (in love or business), is opposed to this full moon, suggesting someone is laying down the law.

News may not be what you hoped to hear, but with planets crowding in Gemini, you’ll have to deal the cards and prepare to make a few concessions. You won’t have all the planetary favor on your side that you would need to get things your way - others will call the shots. Mercury will be quite manic in June, one moment friendly, the next out of control, and this may describe an up and down relationship with one person who is close to you, too. During eclipse time it’s always best to listen and observe. Take time to think before reacting, for if you answer quickly, you may later regret your haste. It is never wise to initiate anything on an eclipse date.

Against this background, you will be very busy on day-to-day projects. You’ll like them too, as with Venus orbiting close to Mars, you will see that you enjoy the assignments and become absorbed in what you are doing. You will be most productive while Mars spends time in Taurus, from June 1 to 19. If you are self-employed, you’ll be able to garner many new assignments.

Jupiter will move into your sixth house of work and health, so both are about to show a boost of good news. This is good timing, as sometimes an elapse can show up a deficit that has to be corrected.

When the Sun moves into Cancer on June 21, you will begin to think more about finances, and the possibility of funding a major costly goal. In this regard, you will focus on “other people’s money.” A difficult set of aspects starting June 25 through 27 could keep you on edge. A total eclipse is due on July 1. To be ready for anything, have your financials in order and your business plan or application ready.

Saturn’s move direct on June 12 will help you better manage your finances and find new opportunities to make money. Once you get closer to June 12, you’ll know where you stand with salary matters. Watch the several days that circle July 1 for upbeat clues - you will see indications and signs from the universe if you look.

Dates to Note for Sagittarius

The new moon June 1 will be a solar eclipse and urge you to link up with another in a partnership or marriage.

The full moon on June 15 will be a major moment for you. It will be a full moon total lunar eclipse that falls in Sagittarius, so a matter of major importance will end, and later something new will begin.

With Jupiter in Taurus from June 4, 2011 to June 12, 2012, you will have your very best possibility for good health. Start a fitness program and see results that stun you!

You will need to be ready to compromise more than usual from June 20 to August 3, as Mars will be in Gemini, your opposite sign.
