KOOZA tells the story of The Innocent, a melancholy loner in search of his place in the world. KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.
The Innocent's journey brings him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
Between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles, turmoil and harmony, KOOZA explores themes of fear, identity, recognition and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual world full of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement.

Event held at the Grand Chapiteau (Big Top). The Grand Chapiteau seats over 2,600 spectators per performance. Show is 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 30-minute intermission.
The show starts on time and latecomers are admitted only during a suitable break in the performance. Late-coming wheelchair-users can only be admitted at the intermission.
Box Office Hours- Open: 2 Hours prior to show - Close: 1/2 hour after start of performance.
Refreshments and snacks are available in the entrance tent. There is a Cirque du Soleil store in the entrance tent. The following show contains flashing lights which may cause difficulties for peoples with photosensitive epilepsy.
The temperature inside the Grand Chapiteau is controlled.
There is no cloakroom. Smoking is not permitted in the Grand Chapiteau.
Mobile phones must be turned off during the show. Any type of videotaping, photography or audio recording is prohibited in the Big Top. Animals are not allowed.

ARRIVE EARLY!
We strongly recommend that you arrive in Santa Monica ONE HOUR before the show. This will allow adequate time to park in the appropriate lot and arrive at the big top at least 20 minutes early for ticket scanning and seating. Late arrivals will be held outside of the big top and seated at the appropriate time. You don’t want to miss a minute of the show!

SHUTTLE SERVICE
Cirque du Soleil will provide shuttle service, especially for those with mobility impairments, to & from Lot 4 South (for 1pm & 4pm shows ) and to & from the Civic Center Parking Garage (for 5pm & 8pm shows). This service will start 3 hours prior to show time and end one hour after show time for each of the designated parking facilities.
