Join us in a haunting adventure when you come to Sulphur Creek Nature Center to experience the Land of OZ through the keen eyes of wild animals. Find out the real truth about Halloween’s dark and creepy creatures from the wonderful wizard and his entourage of Emerald City residents as you follow the yellow brick road and wind your way through the corridors of Sulphur Creek’s Unhaunted House. Let the wicked witch draw you into her secret castle as you meet live bats and find out how the Tinman and desert tortoise became best friends. And on the lighter side, discover how the scarecrow and owl became best friends to protect OZ. Enjoy the rest of the evening with Halloween crafts, storytelling, playing great games, tasty treats and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. For those who love adventure in the dark, be sure to follow our naturalist on specially scheduled night hikes along the back trail. Tickets for the Unhaunted House are for specific time slots, so be sure to sign up early. Price only includes entrance into the Unhaunted House. Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult.
