Our Pokemon league is a casual, friendly environment for people who play Pokemon (or those who would like to learn how to play) to come together. These are open house style, drop in events. Come any Saturday when it works into your schedule.

Players will get a score card and earn stamps for every game they play with an opportunity to win special cards and gym badges. No experience necessary, but the kids do need to be able to read the cards and count by 10’s.

You will need your own deck of cards.

NOTE: If you need help with the rules, we recommend coming in on Thurs/Friday afternoons or Sat @ noon and we can help. Please call 1st for availability


Famplosion strives for 100% accuracy in all of our listings. However, we recommend checking with the venue prior to your visit especially for special holiday hours or event schedule changes.

Tips

We have a maximum capacity of 40 for the league. We often fill up, so if you would like to reserve a spot call or stop in to pre-register.

DECK BUILDING TIPS:
A deck = exactly 60 cards
Sort your pokemon by type (grass, fire, etc.)
Sort your energy cards by type
Pick just 1 or 2 types to use in your deck
Pick 20 Pokemon, 20 matching energy cards, and 20 trainers
(doesn't have to be this mix, but it is as good starting point)

NOTE: Some pokemon are "basic". You can always start with these.
Some pokemon are "stage 1" or "stage 2". You can't play these unless you have the cards that they evolve from (the card will tell you in tiny letters who it evolves from). Don't include stage 1 or stage 2 cards unless you also have the cards that they evolve from.
